Soft Washing
The BWCA’s Soft Washing Course is ideal for anyone either with or without experience looking to enter the Soft Wash market. On this course we will teach you how to reduce chemical usage and how to apply chemical solutions avoiding overspray, as well as how to choose the right chemicals for any task and comply with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations in the UK.
Window Cleaning
Waterfed pole systems have revolutionised window cleaning, and are fast becoming the method of choice for window cleaners. It is now common for building managers to insist on the use of waterfed poles in order to comply with Health & Safety Policy. This course focuses on how the pole systems work, and on how to use the poles on different types of buildings effectively.
Roof Cleaning
On this course, candidates will learn how the Roof Wand™ works, and why it should be considered as a safer alternative to other methods of roof cleaning. The energetic style of teaching allows candidates to learn the Health & Safety implications of this new method, while seeing firsthand the procedure and processes for setting up, using the equipment and cleaning down afterwards. The course will go through the different items of the Roof Wand™ equipment, that as a whole, make roof cleaning easier and safer.

As the founder of the British Window Cleaning Academy (BWCA) and Ionic Systems, my journey in the world of professional cleaning started from humble beginnings as a window cleaner. It was through this hands-on experience that I recognized the need for innovation and efficiency in our industry, leading to the creation of Ionic Systems. However, my passion didn't stop at just providing equipment. I realised the importance of sharing knowledge and skills to empower the next generation of cleaning professionals.
That's why, at the BWCA, we've expanded our training to not only cover window cleaning but also to include comprehensive courses in exterior cleaning as a whole, such as soft washing and roof cleaning.
